We saw several major changes in the pay equity and compensation compliance space for federal contractors in 2022.  Among all the changes, what matters most and what should contractors do to get ahead of potential pay equity problems?  This presentation will cover what contractors can focus on to maintain their pay equity health and prevent future issues given the agency’s current direction.

Brian Marentette, Ph.D. specializes in research and statistical methods related to equal employment opportunity compliance in employee hiring, promotion, termination, and compensation decisions in high-stakes settings. Dr. Marentette began his career with Biddle Consulting Group, Inc. in 2006 before attending DePaul University to complete his Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology. Over the last 16+ years, he has consulted to organizations with national and global footprints in some of the most high-stakes, litigious settings to develop and defend more than 100 personnel selection systems. Dr. Marentette has also provided litigation support to numerous organizations as they worked alongside the U.S. Department of Justice to comply with federal consent decrees resulting from discrimination in past hiring and promotional practices. In his current role as Director of the People Insights Division at Biddle Consulting Group, Inc., Dr. Marentette leads their pay equity, DEI, and EEO compliance analytics.
